We are specialists in creating OHMPK, meaning betta fish with unique, large tails that span 200° to 250°, combined with an artistic body shape. We remain the best in the world at developing OHMPK plakats. Creating and shaping over-tail betta fish is the most challenging feat in the betta fish world. While producing betta fish colors is relatively easy—simply purchasing a breeding pair and mating them can achieve the desired colors—developing a wide and expansive tail exceeding 200° to 250° is filled with secrets and mysteries. Other betta fish may have similar colors to ours, but no one can create and shape an over-tail betta like Jokiweda. We are a Single Breeder, meaning we breed and raise our fish entirely on our own—from selective breeding to adulthood. Unlike Plasma Breeders, who buy fish from other farms, all of our bettas are raised in-house. With a farm capacity of 120,000 betta fish, we take pride in being the largest and best Single Breeder in the world.
